I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Board Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC) in private practice based in Boulder, Colorado.

I hold a master’s degree from Naropa University in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Art Therapy. I am a Board Member with Boulder Friends of Jung and have studied for the past 4 years in the local Boulder Association of Jungian Analysts (BAJA) seminar. I am currently working towards certification in Jungian Studies through the C.G. Jung Institute of Los Angeles. 

I have completed Level I & Level II training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR),

I am a qualified teacher in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) through the University of Massachusetts Medical School.

I am a mother of two vibrant young boys and one small cat we call Sweet Jane. 

We spend much of our time in the outdoors of Colorado exploring the creeks and the woods and when I am not parenting or seeing clients I can be found on the early morning trails, painting in my studio, or on my yoga mat. 

Over the past decade I have worked in a variety of settings. While getting my Master’s degree in 2004, I worked in the milieu of the Partial Hospitalization Program and the Intensive Outpatient Program at the Eating Disorder Center of Denver, now EDCare. I was assistant to the lead therapists in the expressive therapies program including; art therapy, psychodrama and movement therapy groups as well as assistant to the psychiatrist in psycho-educational groups among other groups throughout the program.

My post grad 2,000 hour clinical training and supervision work towards licensure was with the Community Reach Center as a School Based Therapist in Commerce City, Colorado. There, I worked closely with the school psychologist serving individual students and their families in a high trauma, high needs school district.

My clinical work continued with the La Luna Center in Fort Collins where I served as the Interim Clinical Director supervising doctoral interns and managing the milieu for the outpatient Eating Disorder Program. There, I worked as an individual therapist and evening IOP group leader.

I am trained in Level I & Level II  EMDR- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. 

I am adjunct faculty at Naropa University in the Art Therapy Program.

I am a trainer with Vital Hearts; Secondary Resiliency Trauma Training where I co-lead on going trainings for care providers who are suffering from vicarious trauma.

I am “Qualified” to teach Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction through the Massachusetts Medical Center.

I am currently a member of the Boulder Friends of Jung monthly clinical seminar and training.
